Privacy policy
Last updated 9 June 2026
This policy explains what personal data Seenely collects, why, and what we do with it. We try to keep it plain and short. If anything is unclear, email hello@seenely.com.
Who we are
Seenely (“we”, “us”) is a UK business that builds and manages websites for sole traders and small businesses. For the personal data described below, we are the data controller. You can reach us at hello@seenely.com.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to build your site and run the service:
- Enquiry details you give us through the form or by email/WhatsApp: your name, business name, business address, email, phone number, and anything you tell us about your business.
- Billing details for the subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe - we never see or store your full card number.
- Anonymous usage statistics for seenely.com via Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect personal data or track you across sites.
How we use it
- To build, host, and maintain your website.
- To contact you about your site, preview, and any edits.
- To take payment and manage your subscription.
- To understand, in aggregate, how our own site is used.
Our legal bases (UK GDPR)
We process enquiry and billing data to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you. We rely on legitimate interests for running and improving our service and for aggregate analytics, in a way we've balanced against your privacy.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run Seenely, acting as our processors:
- Stripe - payment processing.
- Resend - sending transactional and notification emails.
- Plausible Analytics - privacy-friendly, cookieless site analytics.
- Our hosting and domain providers - to serve your website and register your domain.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU adequacy or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on seenely.com. Our analytics (Plausible) is cookieless. We may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the site and any sign-in working.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you're a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your enquiry and you're not a customer, we will.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, and you can object to certain processing. Email hello@seenely.comand we'll help. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
