Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Seenely's managed website service. By signing up you agree to them. If anything is unclear, email hello@seenely.com before you commit.

The service

Seenely designs, builds, hosts, and maintains a website for your business for a monthly subscription of £20 (including VAT where applicable). There is no setup fee. We register or connect a domain for your site at no extra cost while you subscribe.

Preview and going live

We build your site first and host it at a preview address (yourbusiness.seenely.com) so you can see the real thing before you pay. Once you approve it and set up payment, we put it live on your domain, usually within 24 hours.

Fees and billing

The subscription is billed monthly in advance through Stripe, starting when you set up payment. Prices may change, but we'll give you reasonable notice before any change affects you.

Edits and what's included

Hosting, your domain, design, and reasonable ongoing edits are included in the monthly price. “Reasonable edits” means the normal changes a small business needs - updating text, prices, photos, service areas, and contact details. Large new builds or work well beyond the scope of a managed small-business site may be quoted separately, and we'll always agree that with you first.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time by telling us by email or WhatsApp. Your subscription stops at the end of the current paid month. Because the site is hosted and maintained by us, it goes offline when you cancel. We'll happily export your content (text and images) so you can use it elsewhere. Any domain registered in your name remains yours.

Ownership and intellectual property

Content you provide (your text, photos, logo, business information) stays yours, and you grant us permission to use it to build and run your site. The website build itself - the underlying template and code - is licensed to you for use while you subscribe and is not transferred or sold to you. You confirm you have the right to use any content you give us.

Availability and results

We aim to keep your site online and fast, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We build sites to give search engines what they need to rank you on merit, but we do not and cannot guarantee any particular Google ranking, traffic, or number of enquiries.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for anything unlawful or to ask us to publish content that is illegal, infringing, or misleading. We may decline or remove such content and, in serious cases, end the service.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
